Early "Telephone" Instruments

The following is a series of articles on the early experiments and instruments made prior to the telephone was made for commercial use. After reading the articles and seeing photographs of working models made from notes and drawing left by early inventors, you can ask the question: "Who really invented the telephone?" The articles are provided by A. Edward Everson, author of the book The Telephone Patent Conspiracy of 1876. This book is currently in print and is available at amazon.com.
